~ About Linwood United Church ~
The congregation of Linwood United is made up of a socially and economically diverse group of people who join together for worship, study, and service to those in the neighborhood surrounding our building and throughout the world. Folks from all over the metropolitan area call Linwood United "home".
In 1975 Linwood Presbyterian, Southeast Presbyterian, and Linwood United Methodist churches joined together to form Linwood United Church, a joint Presbyterian and United Methodist congregation. In 2001 it became a solely Presbyterian congregation and still maintains its rich history of loving God and serving people.
Linwood United Church is a member of Heartland Presbytery in the Synod of Mid-America of the Presbyterian Church USA.
